Hustler and Axel Braun: 2 Editor’s Choice Phenoms!

(Beverly Hills, CA) Hustler Video and award-winning director Axel Braun are leaving their mark on the world of parody porn, by receiving the coveted AVN Editor’s Choice twice in the month of May on AVN.com! The last two hit parodies to come out of LFP studios, This Ain’t Happy Days XXX and This Ain’t Star Trek XXX were both written and directed by Braun, who now becomes the first director ever to have two movies given the AVN Editor’s Choice in the same month.
With copies flying off the shelves and numerous mentions in mainstream and adult press, both titles have set the bar for the parody porn genre. “Both these projects were very personal for me, so it really is a great feeling to get recognition for them,” says an ecstatic Braun. “Everybody involved in the making of the these movies was just as passionate and dedicated as myself, and such level of commitment from the actors and the crew is really what made it possible for me to create something of this caliber.”
This is what reviewer Emma Edwards had to say in regards to the difficulty in achieving a smash hit when doing a parody like This Ain’t Happy Days XXX: “It seems a rather impossible task to remake one of the most beloved sitcoms in American pop culture and spin out a parody that not only matches the genuine charm and appeal of the original show, but has what it takes to catapult the classic into the 21st Century.” She goes on to say, “This is precisely what ace director Axel Braun has created with his stellar parody that hits the mark at every turn by using all the popular catch phrases and introductory sequences that helped separate the look and feel of the original show from that of other sitcoms.”
