April 23, 2009 --- VAN NUYS, Calif. --- Tulane University in New Orleans, LA becomes the most recent university to delve into the debate regarding the academic merit of pornography when it screens Digital Playground's adult blockbuster, Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge for thousands of students. Students 18-years-old and over may attend the 8pm Campus Programming event on April 24 at McAlister Auditorium. The screening at the University of Maryland College Park was canceled after the state legislature threatened to withhold university funds. Declaring a violation of their 1st Amendment rights, hundreds of students and faculty gathered together to discuss the role of adult entertainment and view the movie in direct protest of the government's threat.
