The Date is Set for 2009 F.A.M.E. Awards… First Round of Voting Now Open!

Fourth Annual F.A.M.E. Awards Show set for Saturday, June 13th at the LA Convention Center as part of Erotica LA

(LOS ANGELES, CA) — The date has been locked in for the fourth annual F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards Show. The fans will vote on their favorites in adult via the world wide web and the winners will be announced as part of a star-studded event on June 13, 2009, at the Los Angeles Convention Center as part of Erotica L.A..

“Our hope is that the F.A.M.E. Awards are to fans what the AVN Awards are to critics. Here, the fans recognize the stars and companies for their achievements in different categories. It’s an incredible way for the end user to have say… and to make history,” says Paul Fishbein, President of AVN Media Network, and co-sponsor of F.A.M.E. “This awards show has truly become an event that we feel all of the studios and stars of our industry look forward to year after year and we look forward to co-producing it for them.”

The first round of voting where fans will select the finalists in each category is now open on the F.A.M.E. website, www.TheFameAwards.com, with the final voting round slated to begin on April 21st. Well over 100,000 votes were cast for last year’s contest, and this year’s edition should surpass those numbers.
