Harmony Films Garners 13 AVN Award Noms

LONDON - Harmony Films, known around the world for its award-winning and critically acclaimed productions, scored 13 AVN Award nominations with a strong showing in the foreign categories.

The nominations include Best Director Foreign Non-Feature nods to Harmony Films' Gazzman, for "Young Harlots: Riding School," and Tanya Hyde, who shot the fetish-fueled all-sex title "Underworld." Both titles are also in the running for Best Foreign Sex Release.

The Gazzman-directed volumes of "Fuck Me," "Slam It!" and "Young Harlots" are also nommed for Best Foreign All Sex Series. The Scottish director is in the running for Best Gonzo Release with "The Initiation of Nikki Jayne" - the first title shot featuring the Vivid contract girl - Best All-Sex Release for "Fuck Me: Jenny Hendrix" and Best Oral-Themed Release for "Oral Obsession."

The company's performer nominations include Rebeca Linares and Marco Banderas in "Fuck Me: Rebecca Linares" for Best Anal Sex Scene. Harmony Rose, Banderas and Tony DeSergio in "Fuck Me: Rebecca Linares" and Annette Schwarz, DeSergio and John Strong in "Slam It! In a Young Pussy" are in contention for Best Double Penetration Sex Scene.

“This is our best showing, to date, for the AVN Award nominations,” Jason Maskell, sales and marketing manager for the company, said. “We're very pleased our dedication to shooting the best performers and locations have not gone unnoticed by our American audience and critics.”

Maskell added that Harmony Films' special night at the AVN Awards will be shared by Gazzman, performer Bobbi Starr and 10 fans who won their seats through Harmony Films' AVN Awards Golden Ticket contest.

“We're releasing two of them with each release in November and December, then giving another two during a drawing at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo,” he said. “There's a total of four tickets floating around right now, with the release of 'Young Harlots: Dirty Secrets' and 'Ladies of Pleasure.'”
