BERLIN, GERMANY (OCTOBER 22, 2008 THE AZURIX GROUP) - Spotlights were blazing in Germany this weekend as Berliners watched Wicked Pictures contract stars jessica drake and Alektra Blue bring some Hollywood-style glamor to the Venus Berlin 12th International Fair.

In promoting their annual adult convention prior to the Wicked Girls' arrival, expo organizers were fond of saying that the ladies of adult "represent everything our industry stands for: business, power, and sex appeal."

Well, nowhere was this more evident than at the Paradise Film Entertainment, GmbH booth, as jessica and Alektra dazzled retailers, fans, and press from around the world. They were joined on their publicity intensive campaign by Wicked VP of International Sales and Licensing Steven Vlottes, who worked to further solidify the company's relationships with its network of international business associates.

Promoted as the "global center for sex and erotica," Venus Berlin featured over 400 exhibitors from 35 countries, yet the booth featuring the Wicked celebutantes always seemed to boast the longest autograph lines. True to their images as press magnets, jessica and Alektra found themselves surrounded by a crush of paparazzi whether they were making the scene at the show, enjoying a night on the town, or attending the prestigious Media Eline Awards. The whirlwind of publicity saw the two Wicked Girls granting interviews to German radio and newspaper agencies like BILD. AVN Europe, Hot Video, The Dan Porno Hook Show and scores of other adult publications also interviewed the girls, as did such high-profile pop culture media outlets as Beaute Ushe and Canal Plus.

With 30,000 consumers and 700 representatives from the international press in attendance, the Wicked adulation only intensified after the opening night's prestigious film awards ceremony saw jessica winning the "Eline" award for Outstanding Achievements, while Alektra accepted a trophy for her pre-Wicked Pictures release Rollerdollz. The evening was something of a one-two punch for the Wicked ladies, as they also took center stage to accept the Best International Actor award on behalf of company contract actor/director Randy Spears - an opportunity that also allowed jessica to introduce Alektra to the audience as the latest addition to the Wicked family.

When asked about attending Venus Berlin, Alektra had nothing but praise for both the fans and organizers of the show. “Berlin was amazing! It was my first time going, and it was great to meet my German fans. Everyone was very polite, and overall it was a good time. I can't wait to go back!”

While jessica has attended the convention for several years, the 2008 show brought new delights. “This year was really special to me because I got the chance to introduce Alektra as one of our new Wicked Girls and show her off to thousands of fans! Everyone was really excited about Fallen, and I signed so many movies and posters. At the Eline Awards, I was very honored to accept the Outstanding Achievements Award, and I would like to thank both Wicked and Paradise for making my trip possible.”
