LOS ANGELES, CA (OCTOBER 15, 2008 THE AZURIX GROUP) - Regardless of whether one personally believes in the power of spells and other paranormal phenomena, "magical" is the only word to describe the impact Wicked Pictures contract superstars Stormy Daniels, jessica drake and Kaylani Lei had on their fans this weekend as they wove a wicked web of enchantment from Tinseltown to Tampa Bay.
The first spell was cast Saturday night as jessica drake nearly caused a riot on the red carpet of the 2008 World Magic Awards in Los Angeles, stealing the spotlight from such Hollywood favorites as Angelica Bridges, Joely Fisher, Sofia Milos, Judy Tenuta, and the infamous Bai Ling.
The enchanting evening celebrated the latest and greatest from the top names in the world of illusion, and will air nationally on My Network TV November 26th.
Sunday evening saw magic of a uniquely Wicked nature emanating from Tampa Bay, Florida, where Kaylani Lei co-hosted The 16th Annual NightMoves Adult Entertainment Awards Show at The Dallas Bull.
The exotic Ms. Lei and her Wicked sister Stormy Daniels were among the evening's biggest winners both on and off the red carpet, with Daniels' scoring Best Director (Fans' Choice) and Best Comedy Or Parody (Fans' Choice) for her epic smash Operation: Desert Stormy. Kaylani won the coveted Best Female Performer (Editors' Choice) trophy, while a much-deserved Lifetime Achievement Award went to Wicked Pictures President And Owner Steve Orenstein.
By the time this wicked weekend had ended, a wizard's brew of mainstream coverage had already begun stirring, with the girls cropping up in everything from the Tampa Bay Times to WireImage.Com.
And what's next for these sirens of the spotlight? Well, jessica drake and Alektra Blue will be appearing from October 16th to the 19th at the renowned Venus-Berlin 12th International Fair at the Exhibition Grounds Of Messe Berlin. Promoted as the global "center for sex and erotica," Venus-Berlin will play host to an annual erotic film festival and feature 400 exhibitors from over 35 countries.
The Wicked ladies will be meeting fans, retailers, and press from around the world each day at the Paradise Film Entertainment, GmbH booth.
Wicked Pictures VP Of International Sales and Licensing Steven Vlottes will be in attendance to further solidify the company's relationships with its network of international business associates.
At press time, its been confirmed that both jessica and Alektra will be attending the prestigious Media Eline Awards while in Berlin.
It all amounts to a week of national and international red carpet media coverage for the women of Wicked, a fitting testimony to the ladies' crossover popularity and their unique, enduring charisma.
