LOS ANGELES, CA (SEPTEMBER 9, 2008 THE AZURIX GROUP) - In many spiritual traditions, a fallen angel is a being that has been purposely exiled or banished from Heaven. Often such exile is punishment for rebellion or disobedience. This fascinating notion, which has inspired artists down through the centuries, is now the premise for Fallen, the 100th film from Wicked Pictures contract director Brad Armstrong.

Slated to arrive in stores nationwide September 30th, the sprawling gothic fantasy stars multiple AVN award winner jessica drake and represents one of the most elaborate productions yet from a filmmaker whose fourteen year track record includes such multiple AVN award winners as Dream Quest, Euphoria, Falling From Grace, The Collector, Eternity, Manhunters, Coming Home and The Craving.

Featuring an intricate storyline that updates John Milton's notion in Paradise Lost that "long and hard is the path that leads out of hell up to the light," Fallen follows "Angel" (jessica drake), a Gregorian Angel who's stripped of her wings after the young woman she's assigned to protect is killed in a freak accident. Earth-bound and lonely, her dark journey soon takes her through some of earth's most perverse landscapes, where she experiences a world of sin far from the idyllic heavens she once knew.

While Armstrong is content to leave some story elements under wraps, he reveals that "Angel is trapped in a purgatory of sorts, somewhere between human and the immortal she once was, touring the earth's seedy underworld. And so it goes, until she meets a handsome stranger who changes her life."

In addition to what may well be a career-defining performance from drake, Fallen features uniformly fine contributions from Armstrong and fellow Wicked Pictures contract stars Alektra Blue and Randy Spears.

The hauntingly erotic project also features strong work from Jenna Haze, Shyla Stylez, Jada Fire, Gianna Lynn, Ryder Skye, Jennifer Dark, Angie Savage, Jenaveve Jolie, Michelle McClaren, Eric Masterson, Derrick Pierce, Barrett Blade, Barry Scott, and more.

The movie's many diverse sex scenes are rich and varied, and certain to deliver something catering to virtually every taste, from warm and romantic couples-oriented encounters featuring drake and Armstrong to an explosive orgy at a decadent goth club featuring Ryder Skye, Jada Fire, and many more. The movie also features jessica's first ever on-camera DP with two men. As a major participant in several of the movie's intense carnal encounters, the dynamic Wicked Girl performs anal in all but two of her scenes.

Visually, the project's elegant videography makes every scene virtually palpable (a sequence in which drake's character yearns for flight is a particular standout), and represents some of the finest visual erotica yet from the director whose jeweler's eye for detail has resulted in such masterworks as Conquest, Hell On Heels, Sold, and FUCK.

While Armstrong is justifiably proud of the movie itself, he's also quick to point out that he sees it as something of a personal milestone in his career. “This movie is very special to me, not only because it's a great movie, probably one of the best I've ever done, but because it's the 'Big 100.' Who knew when I started directing for Wicked that I'd be here some 14 years later, and that I'd reach this plateau?”

Quick to give credit to the company's visionary President and Owner, Armstrong adds “It's been an honor to work with Steve Orenstein for all these years, and to have the total creative control that he has allowed.”

For his part, Orenstein is quick to return the compliment, observing, “Brad has been a major creative force within the company for well over a decade. I don't believe there has been another director who consistently delivers the quality and quantity that he does. He has his big blockbusters like Manhunters, The Craving, and Coming Home that he gets most of his recognition from, but he has been shooting 10 movies a year for us that all deserve accolades."
