X-Play to Produce Love Boat & Three’s Company XXX Spoofs

(Hollywood, CA) Producers Scott David and Jeff Mullen of X-Play are taking aim at the classic 1970’s television shows Three’s Company and The Love Boat as the next projects they will spoof XXX style.

With a full slate of X-Play television and celebrity parodies including Not Bewitched XXX set for a September release and a sequel to their hugely popular Not the Bradys XXX due in November, the Hollywood based production company is among the busiest and most enterprising studios in town.

“We make movies that appeal to us from a creative standpoint,” stated X-Play/All Media Play president Jeff Mullen.  “Then we determine if there is a commercial market for the project and execute an appropriate marketing campaign and so far we’ve been able to connect to a sizable audience.”   

Creating a porn spoof of the Brady Bunch was a no-brainer for X-Play as the light-hearted parody starring Sexz.com star Hillary Scott received tremendous exposure from a wide variety of national news and entertainment shows helping to make it one of the biggest selling adult movies in recent history.  It then became the biggest selling video-on-demand title for Hot Movies.com quickly hitting the #1 spot when it was brought online earlier this year.   

“We reach for the stars each time we produce a movie they keep getting better.  Not Bewitched XXX is our best movie yet and I think fans will love seeing Jenna Haze, Teagan, Eva Angelina, Sasha Grey, Nina Hartley, Aurora Snow, Ron Jeremy and Sunny Lane doing something funny, fresh and magical this fall,” David said.  The official website will debut in late July, but fans can get an early look at www.notbewitchedxxx.com  

The idea for a porn version of The Love Boat and Three’s Company XXX parodies have been on X-Play’s list of possible shows for well over a year but running a studio, directing each project (Will Ryder) and handling marketing leaves precious few hours to get all of the new ideas underway.

“We’re still a small production company which is the way we like it and we’re having a blast with the success of our Not… XXX titles but each one of them takes an incredibly long time to create,” Mullen remarked.  “You can slap a movie together, but if the attention to detail is not there, the fans will know it and I guarantee that everything that comes from X-Play will be picture perfect.”   

X-Play is keeping quiet on their DVD distribution plans.  “We’re like a pretty girl at a dance with many options even though we’re going steady with two powerhouses,” Mullen joked.
