LOS ANGELES, CA -- (December 7, 2007 DMPR) -- Although the expression “The Dirty Dozen” is most often associated with classic Lee Marvin war movies, it’s taking on a new meaning this week for VOUYER MEDIA. The Canoga Park-based adult production company is pleased to announce that it has received twelve 2008 AVN Awards nominations, with eight going to the work of VM co-founder VINCE VOUYER.

Vouyer 's Breakin’ ‘Em In 11 led the pack, receiving a nomination for Best Pro-Am Release while the overall franchise was nominated for Best Pro-Am series.

Other significant nominations for the director included Best Gonzo Release for the company's hot seller S.W.A.T. (Sex with A Teenager), while his trend-setting work in the POV genre was recognized with a Best POV Release nom for Vouyer Vision 3. The popularity of the cream pie genre saw the filmmaker garnering mentions in the newly-minted Best Internal Release category for both Make Me Creamy 3 and Cum Drippers 9, and The Whole Enchilada warmed up a nomination in the Best Ethnic Themed Release - Latin category.

And as befits a director who came on so strongly in so many genres over the last year, Vince Vouyer was fittingly nominated for Director Of The Year (Body Of Work).

Vouyer Media contract performer/filmmaker JACK NAPIER made his mark as well, receiving a trilogy of nominations in high-profile categories. His signature franchise for the company, It’s Big, It’s Black, It’s Jack, was nominated for Best Interracial Series, while his first foray into the POV genre, Jack in Me POV, snared a nom for Best POV Release. Mr. Napier’s accolades were rounded out by a well-deserved Best Ethnic Themed Release - Black nomination for Black Bottom Girls 3.

Vouyer Media’s penchant for discovering and nurturing new directorial talent was also acknowledged, with a nomination going to up-and-coming filmmaker Donnie Cabo’s Frosty Finish for Best Oral Themed Release.

The winners of the 25th annual AVN Awards will be announced January 12th, 2008 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

In other recent awards news, the company was honored at the recent UK Adult Film And TV Awards in London, with the “Best Overseas Film” trophy going to Vince Vouyer’s multi-AVN award winner Breakin’ ‘Em In 9.
