LOS ANGELES, CA - (OCTOBER 25, 2007 DMPR) - While 2007 AVN Contract Star Of The Year Stormy Daniels’ hilarious blockbuster Operation Desert Stormy has been permanently lodged in the Top Five of the sales charts since it was released last month, the movie is hardly the charismatic writer/director/star’s only foray into adult-oriented comedy. She’s proven herself a gifted comedienne through her work in such varied Wicked Pictures titles as Sleeping Around, 3 Wishes, and The Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre (for which she won Best Supporting Actress and Best Screenplay honors from AVN). So when word got around this weekend that the busty beauty had been invited to perform with the controversial comedy troupe the Upright Citizens Brigade at their weekly improvised show ASSSSCAT in Hollywood, it came as little surprise that the Sunday evening performance was quickly filled to capacity. More surprising were the many celebrity comedians who decided to join the busty beauty on stage - in addition to scheduled performers like UCB founders Matt Walsh, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and host Sean Conroy, Stormy was joined on stage by Comedy Central regular Billy Merritt and, most notably, Saturday Night Live alum and popular film star Tim Meadows (Mean Girls, The Benchwarmers, The Ladies’ Man). True to the ASSSSCAT formula, the evening saw Stormy taking center stage, improvising monologues that established the foundation for a series of interlocking improv sketches. Characters and stories inspired by Ms. Daniels‘ witty banter were instantly created, resulting in carefully interrelated and truly hilarious bits of comedic magic. The role of guest monologist is filled by invitation only, and Sunday night’s performance saw Stormy following in the footsteps of such other recent ASSSSCAT guest speakers as Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, and Andy Richter. Thanks to a little Wicked inspiration, ASSSSCAT once again lived up to its reputation as the best improv show in Los Angeles, as the cast fearlessly explored any subject thrown at them by their curvaceous guest. The troupe generated a side-splitting storyline inspired by Stormy‘s casting of adult legend Ron Jeremy in Operation Desert Stormy, and Meadows stole the show in an uproarious bit inspired by the unusual encounters Ms. Daniels has endured on the strip club circuit.
