Music’s On Key in Brady Bunch XXX Parody

(Hollywood, CA) The right music soundtrack can often play a key role in the success or failure of the latest Hollywood movie and that seems to be the case with the feel-good porn movie of the year Not the Bradys XXX in stores September 18th from X-Play/LFP Video.

Not the Bradys XXX is a sexy parody of The Brady Bunch and early reports are that the music is fantastic helping to make this fun loving comedy quite possibly the most enjoyable adult movie of the year.

It’s a sex comedy and we took the music very seriously and created our own soundtrack and music theme with live musicians and singers giving the movie a terrific feel,” stated the project’s co-producer Jeff Mullen who was involved heavily in the music sessions.

It wouldn’t have been fair to simply select library tracks and slap them in there.  It would have been easier but we wanted this movie to be special so we spent the time and money to get the job done right,” Mullen continued.

While attempting to capture much of the essence of the 1970s wholesome television vibe, producers had to be careful not to copy the music but instead to recreate authentic sounding songs.  Hundreds of hours were spent writing original melodies and lyrics, arranging them and making them sound like they could have been a part of the television fabric of that era.

With an AVN nomination for Best Music for last year’s Britney Rears 3: Britney Gets Shafted, X-Play had the studio working overtime trying to make sure that Not the Bradys XXX had the most enjoyable music soundtrack of the year.

The hardest part was writing a great theme song that would make the entire movie believable.  If the first few seconds of what the audience hears is a farce, then the entire project falls apart,” stated the movie’s co-producer Scott David.  “And I think viewers will be blown away by how good the music is,” he continued.

Although the music was written and recorded in Los Angeles, final mixes of each track were done in Toronto, Canada by a well known pop music producer who only wanted to be credited as Rock Hardson.  “Rock is a good friend of mine and has many songs on the radio that the audience would be able to sing along with.  He did this as a favor to me and because he’s a porn-lover from way back,” Mullen joked.  “The music is really important to a movie like this because this ain’t no gonzo.”

Numerous theme songs were recorded before the final version was settled on giving the movie the perfect start to a wonderful journey.  A front runner for Best Music, Best Comedy or Parody and a Movie of the Year candidate, Not the Bradys XXX stars an all-star cast including Hillary Scott, Aurora Snow, Leah Luv, Alana Evans, Paulina James, Veronique Vega, Jasmine Byrne, Lynn LeMay and Ron Jeremy and is the type of movie that will appeal to a huge audience; a fact not lost on LFP executives.

Pre-sales are incredible.  This is going to be one big gigantic hit when it comes out,” stated Drew Rosenfeld, creative director for LFP.

An extensive website will go live September 1st but fans can check out the My Space page at www.myspace.com/thebradysxxx and sign up for updates.

Directed by Will Ryder, Not the Bradys XXX will be in stores everywhere September 18th from X-Play/LFP Video.
