Carmen Hart Teams Up With BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Veterans

(JULY 5, 2007 DMPR) - Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that 2007 AVN Award Winner Carmen Hart has recently completed production on the mainstream horror comedy The One Eyed Monster. The announcement comes as Hart is preparing to film her latest production as a Wicked Pictures contract star for AVN award winning director Michael Raven. She also has several personal appearances lined up for the month, including an exclusive dance engagement next week at Stiletto's Gentlemen's Club in Nanuet, New York.
Described by writer/director Adam Fields as "a horror satire in the vein of the 'Scream' franchise," The One Eyed Monster teams the beautiful Wicked Girl with an eclectic cast best known for their contributions to Joss Whedon's long-running hit TV series Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Buffy alumni who've already completed their work on the project include actress/novelist Amber Benson, actor Jeff Denton (Buffy, Angel), and writer/director Fields, who initially found industry fame as a composer on such series as Buffy, Dawson's Creek, and Beautiful People. The cast also includes veteran character actor Charles Napier, whose four decade career spans projects as diverse as Star Trek: The Original Series and The Blues Brothers to more recent box office hits like The Lords Of Dogtown and Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery.
While Carmen was delighted to share the screen with such esteemed mainstream stars, she's quick to point out that the part of "Angel" was not a typical porn star cameo. “The role was provocative, to be sure, but there was real acting required. I think certain people had the idea that 'porn stars can't act,' and I worked hard to dispel those notions. Some of them obviously weren't familiar with my work for Wicked, and didn't know that creating characters and delivering dialogue is something I'd already been doing for a long time. The director was very pleased with the results. In fact, it looks like the film will be going to Sundance, and I plan to be there to support it.”
Before Sundance though, Carmen will be stepping before the cameras again for a new project with AVN award winning director Michael Raven. Shooting is scheduled for July 6th - 9th at locations in and around Los Angeles.
From there, the enterprising Wicked contract star will be heading to the East Coast for what she promises will be "five great shows" July 13th and 14th at Stiletto's Gentlemen's Club, 180 East Route 59 in Nanuet, New York.
