Pat Myne's X-Rated Collector's Edition

Metro Interactive has created a deluxe collector's edition DVD of X-Rated, director Pat Myne's 100th movie for the company's Fusxion imprint. Boasting over seven hours of content, the 3-disc set ships on Friday for a street date of March 30.

X-Rated showcases Eva Angelina, Alexis Amore, Kelly Wells, Christy Lee, Sandra Romain, Jada Fire and Missy Monroe in exceptionally hard gonzo scenarios. Selected as an Editor's Choice in the March 2007 issue of AVN, the movie received a near-perfect AAAA1/2 rating.

“We went all out on this release,” Metro sales VP Christian Mann told AVN.com. “Pat Myne has been with Fusxion since its inception. Fusxion began as a decided attempt by Metro to be a player in gonzo…the movies would fuse Cal Vista style, high-end production value and big budgets with raunchy, hardcore gonzo. It's my assertion that X-Rated is the quintessence of that fusion. It's very high-end, with top talent, and yet it's as raunchy as anything that I've seen.”

Among the nastier highlights of X-Rated are Romain's double-vaginal and double-anal antics, Wells' interracial anal, and a come-swapping opener with Angelina and Amore double-teaming Mark Ashley.

Metro's DVD package features a widescreen director's cut of X-Rated, with a bonus disc containing behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with Myne and his cast. Disc three offers eight AVN-nominated scenes culled from Myne's earlier Fusxion titles such as Terrible Teens, Ass Slaves, and Pat Myne Is An Ass Assassin.

Metro spared no expense in packaging the DVD for collectors. “The embossed, raised bodies on the front of the package are indicative of the lengths we went to make this a standout within the series,” said Mann. “The images on the front are beautiful, and yet, when you flip open the cover, you're assaulted with two panels of some of the raunchiest hardcore I've ever seen. Pat Myne is a nasty son-of-a-bitch, and it shows. Most importantly, this movie re-affirms Fusxion's original premise, to blend hardcore gonzo with high-end production values that were too frequently lacking in so much of the harder lines.”

Metro has already mounted an extensive promotional campaign for the movie, featuring posters, pre-release ads and special distributor promo kits.
