We, at California Exotic Novelties, wanted to take this opportunity to address the recent news releases regarding the use of phthalates (softeners added to PVC plastic materials) in our products.

California Exotic Novelties has always - and continues to - remain steadfast in our commitment to provide safe products to our customers. We rely on actual scientific studies, both in the U.S. and abroad when determining what materials are used in our products. With that said - please feel secure in knowing that there has been no correlation between the minimal amount of phthalates in any of our products, and any human health issues.

In addition, California Exotic Novelties continues to use the best manufacturing facilities in the world. We are satisfied that there is no use of any toxic substances or materials that may have an adverse effect on consumers.

We understand that quite often "perception is reality" so we wanted to provide you with some additional information as it relates to California Exotic Novelties' products:

* California Exotic Novelties has taken steps to assure that no toxic chemicals of any kind are ever used in the manufacturing of our products.

* New California Exotic Novelties products and packaging will be clearly labeled as to the materials we have used and any other attributes that help the consumer make an informed choice.

* California Exotic Novelties is committed to addressing any and all health and safety concerns and has compiled a complete list of "phthalate free" products in our line.
