Second Annual F.A.M.E. Awards Invites Fans to Vote for Their Favorites in Adult!

(Los Angeles, CA) – Organizers of the F.A.M.E. (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) Awards are pleased to announce that fans can now vote on their favorites in the world of adult at the event’s only official website, www.thefameawards.com, and choose who become the eight finalists in each category. Fans 18 years of age and older can now start to narrow down who makes the final round.

The categories include: Favorite Adult Feature/Big-Budget Movie, Favorite Female Starlet, Favorite Male Star, Favorite Gonzo Movie, Favorite Director, Favorite Rookie Starlet, Favorite Oral Starlet, Favorite Anal Starlet, Hottest (Female) Body, Best Breasts and Best Butt. Two new categories have been added to this year’s ballot — Favorite Production Company and last year’s “Wild Card” winner, The Dirtiest Girl in Porn. The fan-selected “Wild Card” category is returning again where voters can choose the final category. Fans will be able to nominate finalists (either from names listed or via a write-in box) until April 25, 2007, where the top eight vote getters in each category will then move onto the final round of voting which will run until the F.A.M.E. Awards Show.

The awards show takes place on Saturday, June 23rd at 9:00 pm during Erotica LA at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The show is free to attend for those who purchase tickets for the convention. Hosts for the show will be announced in the coming weeks, and organizers promise that the show will be bigger and better than last year’s successful debut.

What separates the F.A.M.E. Awards from various other award shows is that the fans choose their favorites in the adult movie world. To make this groundbreaking event possible, industry leaders Adam & Eve.com (www.adameve.com), Genesis Magazine (www.genesismagazine.com), online adult DVD rental company WantedList (www.wantedlist.com) and AVN.com (www.avn.com) have partnered together to bring The F.A.M.E. Awards to life.
