'BEST SELLING' and 'BEST RENTING'
Title of the Year at AVN's 2007 Award Show

Joone's blockbuster Pirates has been named' Best Renting' and' Best Selling' DVD by AVN at their 2007 award show. AVN Awards were presented at the 24th annual AVN AWARDS SHOW in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 13th, 2007. Publisher, Paul Fishbein presented the' Best Selling' and' Best Renting' trophies to director Joone and the leading stars, Jesse Jane and Carmen Luvana. In his unscripted speech, Fishbein touched on the titles' overwhelming success, calling it a true cultural phenomenon. Thrilled with the win, Joone said, “I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the film, the distributors and stores for their support and of course the fans who made this possible.”

The recent wins take from 11 to 13, making it the most awarded title in history by AVN. With over 40 awards worldwide, Pirates has also received more awards collectively than any other title. These award figures represent all titles in adult entertainment, worldwide. Today, after 67 weeks on AVN's Top 50 Weekly Rentals and Sales Charts, Pirates continues to rank, boasting the longest stay on the list by any title, yet another record. Statistics at all of the top retailers in North America support the claim. Both Gamelink.com and AdultDVDEmpire.com show Pirates in the top 5 and Hustler Hollywood stores report that Pirates is still their top selling title. Since its original release in September of 2005, Pirates has received over 40 awards.
