Wicked Pictures Congratulates Their 2006 AVN Award Nominees

LOS ANGELES, CA - Adult Video News has posted the 2006 AVN Awards nominations, and industry leader Wicked Pictures is pleased to announce that it has received 62 mentions. Brad Armstrong's acclaimed film "Eternity" garnered 17 nominations, including Best Film, Best DVD, Best Director - Film, Best Actress - Video (Stormy Daniels), Best Supporting Actress - Video (jessica drake), followed by Jonathan Morgan's "Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre," which captured 16 nominations, including Best Sex Comedy, Best DVD, Best High-Definition Production, Best Director - Video, and Best Supporting Actress - Video nods for both Stormy Daniels and jessica drake.

Brad Armstrong's "One Man's Obsession" received a total of eight noms, including Best Sex Comedy, Best DVD, Best Screenplay - Video, and Best Actress - Video for jessica drake. Armstrong's Devinn Lane vehicle "Lover's Lane" received recognition with six nominations, including Best Actress - Video (Devinn Lane), Best Video Feature, Best DVD, and Best High-Definition Production. Armstrong's all-sex feature film "Sold" snared five sex scene nominations, as well as a nom for Best Art Direction - Film, and his "Caliente" received a nom for Best Ethnic-Themed Video - Latin.

"Polarity," the first Wicked feature from the company's newest contract director, David Stanley, received two nominations - Best Supporting Actress - Video (Kimberly Kane) and, interestingly, a
nod to Stanley himself for Best Non-Sex Performance. Michael Raven's stylish "Erotik" was recognized with a nomination for Best Packaging, and Michael Zen's "Tuff Chick" received a nom for Best Supporting Actor - Video (Nick Manning). The Wicked Pictures distributed Marc Dorcel import "Cabaret Sodom Club" was nominated for Best Foreign All-Sex Release.

Further celebration of the Wicked Girls' talent and beauty went to Keri Sable, who joined the Wicked family in the Spring of 2005, with a nomination for the coveted Best New Starlet award, and to Stormy Daniels, who received a nom for Crossover Star Of The Year for all the mainstream work she did during the past 12 months.

Wicked's award-winning DVD division continued its successful streak by snaring several nominations, including Best DVD for "Eternity," "Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre," "Lover's Lane," and "One Man's Obsession." "Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre" and "One Man's Obsession" were also nominated for Best DVD Extras and Best DVD Menus.
