Is Bill Cosby Attending the XBiz Awards?

(Hollywood, CA) Those attending the upcoming Xbiz Awards at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood February 10th might think they’ve spotted Bill Cosby taking the stage but instead it will be the world’s greatest Cosby impersonator named Thomas Ward who has skyrocketed into the porn stratosphere with his award-winning performance as Cliff Huxtable in the 2010 AVN Best Parody winner Not the Cosbys XXX.  The picture-perfect movie is a 2010 XBiz Award nominee.

The fun-filled evening kicks off at 8PM and will be packed with beautiful porn stars, producers, directors, internet salesmen, web designers, lube boys and wannabees all celebrating the best-of-the-best in the adult industry for the annual XBiz Awards as they walk the red carpet into the historical theater near the intersection of Hollywood & Vine directly across the street from Capitol Records.

Thomas Ward will be there getting his Bill Cosby groove on as he promotes not only Not the Cosbys XXX but also the highly anticipated sequel Not the Cosbys XXX 2 which hits stores the day before as he gets up on stage to present a number of XBiz Awards to those in the adult entertainment industry.

“I look at this as an honor to be selected to present these awards and I’m going to have fun doing it,” Ward said as he picked up his famous colorful Cliff Huxtable sweaters from the dry cleaners.  “I’m really looking forward to seeing all the beautiful porn starlets getting drunk, flashing their vaginas and getting hit on by a wide variety of successful producers, directors and porn studs and also by some directors that haven’t worked in months,” he joked.

Two of Thomas Ward’s movies which he plays the Cosby/Huxtable character have been nominated for Xbiz Awards.  Not the Cosbys XXX in the category of Parody of the Year and Flight Attendants in the Feature Movie of the Year section helping raise the profile of one of Hollywood’s funniest men.

“Thomas is extremely funny all the time but when he puts on that Cosby wig and sweater he gets even more outrageous and it’s like Bill Cosby is standing there right in front of you.  Without him Not the Cosbys XXX would not be anywhere as successful as it is but with him it is porn-parody perfection,” stated Will Ryder the reigning 2009 XBiz Director of the Year who is also up for the 2010 Director of the Year-Body of Work and also 2010 Director of the Year-Individual project for the hilarious comedy Flight Attendants from Adam & Eve Pictures/X-Play.

The Xbiz Awards are the porn industry’s chance to let loose and have some wild fun and they’re expecting a big turnout since porn girls 18 & above will be admitted.  Everybody in the adult entertainment industry is invited to come out and enjoy a spectacular night filled with beautiful girls.

“If you care about the industry you should come out and bring your cute friends with you because first of all eighteen year old cuties can get in and secondly that means I have a better chance to score,” Ward joked.

“We had a great time last year at XBiz and this year is going to be even better,” stated Scott David of X-Play which is up for numerous awards including Studio of the Year.
