Stephanie Swift - Trying To Catch Up
 First question.
Stephanie Swift - My nails are trashed.
Yes they are. Good thing you didn’t have the long fake ones.
Stephanie Swift - I can’t, never. Only for photo shoots.
How can you find the time to manage other people considering your history of time management?
Stephanie Swift - I have cut my workload in half. I am no longer signed with Club International or writing for them. I am going to continue with my site though. I am only doing 2 movies a year for Wicked, which I really like. I will still do other people’s movies if they have a part they think I will be a benefit for then I will do it. But right now I am only committed to two movies a year.
And you are currently only managing only one girl?
Stephanie Swift - Yes, Michelle Michaels. I want to keep it small and like a family.
Do you have an assistant helping you?
Stephanie Swift - I have a whole crew actually. We all live together one big happy family.
Last time I talked to you a while back you were talking about producing and directing do you have anything specifically in the works?
Stephanie Swift - Nothing yet. The closest I guess you could say I came was with Swift Picks where I choose who was in the scenes together and why. But it is a lot of work to produce or direct and I don’t want to do that until I have the time to devote to it.
Everything unpacked in the house?
Stephanie Swift - Yes , I am thoroughly unpacked but now I am reorganizing. I have to rearrange my bedroom closets so I can put Michelle in there and put my boyfriend down in the downstairs closet.
Same boyfriend?
Stephanie Swift - Yeah same one.
Really? That is like a record. Good for you. Are you actually keeping all your old fan club mail you are so far behind on?
Stephanie Swift - I have it. It is all there. Michelle actually just finished putting it all in alphabetical order in the office so we are just getting things together. I have it and it is terrible. I don’t pretend that I am not terrible about it but I haven’t turned it over to some company to do it for me. That is my only saving grace.
So you are ready to start up the fan club again? I noticed you handing out applications?
Stephanie Swift - I am ready. I have someone to help me now.
What are you going to do with all your old orders?
Stephanie Swift - Fill them.
I was going to ask you how the vacation was but you already told me that you didn’t go on one.
Stephanie Swift - I tried to. My trip to Florida for Playboy for filming was like a vacation.
Princess Scoob’s? Can we embarrass this dog any more?
Stephanie Swift - She is such a good girl though. And we have Doobie and we almost had a Doo but one of her puppies died.
Are you going to go see the Scooby Doo Movie?
Stephanie Swift - What do you think? Every time I see the billboard I scream. I was in the grocery store the other day and saw these little Scooby Doo miniature Oreo cookies, like Scooby snacks. I screamed and everyone looked at me and I was like what it is Scooby Doo and they were like Oookay. They should have just given me a part on that movie.
Did you try out for one?
Stephanie Swift - No, I didn’t even know. I didn’t know it was going on for like forever. I don’t pay any attention those things.
I recently saw your movie Park Avenue and you did a scene with Marc Davis and it looked a little uncomfortable was it?
Stephanie Swift - Working with Marc is not uncomfortable but it was really hot in that room. Size has never really bothered me but sometimes I get a cramp in my back or my leg or something like that though.
What did you think of the latest Anne Rice novel?
Stephanie Swift - I have not even read it. I have done nothing pleasurable for myself these days. I have not read anything and I stopped writing my articles but it is time to get going and get started back up again.
Did you go see the Queen of the Damned Movie?
Stephanie Swift - Yes and I was blown away. It was definitely scary.
According to my records you started out in 1994.
Stephanie Swift - Yep.
2004 is not that far away, almost 10 years.
Stephanie Swift - Oh MY GOD.
Is that surprising?
Daniel Metcalf - Does this mean we are not teenagers anymore?
Stephanie Swift - Oh My God.
I think we are past the teenage. She was a teenager when she started.
Daniel Metcalf - We actually worked on a project together in 1995 years before Wicked. Playboy’s Star Shapes.
Stephanie Swift - Yeah that was like the first “nudie” thing I did other than photo shoots. That is so weird.
Surprising ten years?
Stephanie Swift - 10 years haven’t gone by yet. I have almost two more years though I will definitely still be around. I will still be here.
