October 18, 2010 --- VAN NUYS, CA -- Digital Playground will release “Love & Marriage” DVD & Blu-Ray™ Combo Pack on November 2nd at DVD prices. The DVD/Blu-ray™ combo pack enables fans who don’t own a Blu-ray™ player to watch the films now on standard DVD, but also protects their investment by having the Blu-ray version for future use. Customers that own both can now have the option of watching the Blu-Ray™ disc on their big screen HDTVs or watching the DVD on their computers or portable DVD devices.

This is a smart move by the studio as one of the biggest drawbacks to buying Blu-ray™ movies now is their lack of portability. Joone, founder and director of Digital Playground says, “Since a Blu-ray™ Disc will play only where you have a Blu-ray™ player, many people often can't watch their new movie in the bedroom, on a laptop, or in any other place where they only have a DVD player.”

The packaged combos shatter the relatively high cost of Blu-ray™ movies to the same price as a normal DVDs and takes out the risk of stocking Blu-ray titles for distributors and retailers. They now can offer one product for both markets with no risks.
